I've done extra work in a lot of films and television shows. The secret is, do NOT try to be seen on camera. The more anonymous you are, the more you'll work, and the longer you work, the more you get paid. Don't take your cell phone on set. Don't talk to the Principal actors, unless they talk to you first. (Some like to mingle; others prefer to stay in character and be left alone.) No photos. Bring a backpack, bottled water, a book or magazine, and a few small snacks. There will be Craft Services, but sometimes it's not easy to get there. (Andi says I'm "Humbly Bragging." LOL.) If you get a call, it is usually the day before you are needed on set, so be ready to drive on down to Philly! BREAK A LEG!
