Enterococci Closed NJ Beaches, Now Open Again

A number of New Jersey Beaches Closed for High Levels of Bacteria in Water. Apparently beaches near Toms River and Atlantic City NJ had heavy levels of the bacteria enterococci in the water. The bacteria is  found in animal and human feces, and can cause serious infections.

Always check NJBEACHES.ORG for beach closures.
