CBS21 Meteorologist Steve Knight: Small Snow Bursts/Wet Roads - Use Caution

WICKED WINDS:

A fast-moving clipper system is moving in with nasty winds so a WIND ADVISORY is in effect overnight with West winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour!

SNOW SQUALLS/WINDY:

This clipper will bring us some light snow/rain showers mainly prior to daybreak on Thursday. A WIND ADVISORY continues for Thursday as winds will gust to 40 MPH! As a result, Thursday is a CBS 21 *Weather Watch Day*. Behind the clipper temperatures will turn a touch colder and very windy into Friday.

WEEKEND FORECAST:

We can expect a mix of clouds and sun, it will remain cold with highs stuck around 40. A little warmer for Sunday and Monday. We anticipate some rain to move in by Monday.

Tonight: Cloudy Skies, Snow showers overnight - Low 30

Thursday: Early Snow Showers, Partly Sunny and Windy: - High 34

Friday: Mostly Sunny, Still Windy - High 35

Sunday: Clouds and Sun, warmer - High 46

Snow squalls are anticipated through much of PA starting tonight. These brief but intense periods of heavy snow, strong winds and whiteout conditions can reduce driver visibility and lead to major transportation impacts.
