CBS21-Ed Russo: Flood Watch issued in Central PA until 8 a.m. Thursday

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — MORE RAIN TODAY:

The National Weather Service has now issued a Flood Watch for Central PA from now until 8 a.m. Thursday. Showers will continue to be off and on throughout the day and evening with high temperatures stalling out around 50 degrees.

SOGGY STRETCH:

More rain will overspread the region tomorrow and there could even be a few rumbles of thunder as this front pushes through. Thursday will remain cloudy with a few lingering pop up showers. Over the course of the week many spots can expect to see 2 to 3" of rain with some locally higher amounts possible.

WEEKEND FORECAST:

Drier, sunnier weather is likely for the weekend. It will be breezy on Saturday with highs in the low 50s and then warmer on Sunday with a high near 60.
