Swiper is a big and beautiful 6 year old English Mastiff. He’s a super chill and laid back dude who just wants to cuddle by your feet! He’s good with other dogs, and is great with kids, too! He is somewhat protective of his family, which is typical with this breed, so we usually recommend a slower introduction until Swiper recognizes you as “his” people. At 160 pounds, Swiper has a ton of love to give just the right family who can love him back and give him a wonderful home. He does deal with a little bit of urinary incontinence, which may have been caused by a persistent UTI that the vet team here at the shelter seems to have gotten under control, and may eventually resolve. In the meantime, he wears a belly band—AKA doggie diapers—which help make sure your house stays clean for the little bit of dripping that he continues to have.
