Steven Murrow owns Tesla Tree Service in New Jersey and is going viral for getting a cat out of a tree. Once a professional climber, Murrow saw a need for plucking cats from tough spots. To date, he’s rescued 150 cats from trees and his latest was an orange kitty named Biscotti.
Biscotti was stuck for three days before Murrow came to the rescue and gently brought him down secured in a bag. Once on solid ground his owner took the feline in to warm up. Murrow shared a video of the event on TikTok and it went viral.
He actually started his tree service in the first place as a result of rescuing cats. While working for another company, he began helping stuck cats for free. Then New jersey told him he had to be licensed…so that’s what Murrow did.
Now Murrow’s tree company is part of Cat In A Tree Emergency Rescue website that lists more than 100 companies in several countries. This year, he’s handled 12 rescues so far.
