After the Philadelphia Eagles' latest Super Bowl parade, Amy Rannabargar, a longtime fan, discovered an Eagles starter jacket hanging on a light post. When she picked it up, she noticed a note inside saying, “If found, do NOT return," explaining that the jacket had originally been found after the Eagles' 2018 Super Bowl win and was being released back into the city following their latest victory.
Rannabargar, who’s also a big Grateful Dead fan, says the gesture is like the "miracle tickets" tradition common at Dead shows, where fans give away last-minute tickets. Wanting to share the story, she posted about the jacket and its note on social media, where it quickly went viral, garnering thousands of likes and shares.
Many commenters encouraged Rannabargar to continue the tradition by adding her own note before passing it along after the Eagles' next win. She’s embracing the idea, planning to hold onto the jacket until the Eagles win another Super Bowl. The lucky fan is excited about keeping the tradition alive and hopes to pass it along in the future.
