A Michigan couple who has welcomed many children to their home as foster parents are now the proud parents of six kids. Staci and Christian Blalock have fostered 18 kids over the past 10 years, but one day last week, their family doubled in size.
Back in 2016, the Blalocks adopted twins, Taytum and Tremaine and in a special adoption ceremony on Friday, they adopted four of their siblings, Mia, Elle, Kallie and Xander. Now they have all six siblings under one roof and the kids are pretty excited to be together. “We love that we’re adopted, because we were waiting for 100 years,” says one of the newly-adopted Blalocks.
Staci and Christian say it felt like it took 100 years to make their family official, but it was worth the wait. Judge LaFlamme, who presided over the adoption, says, “It is truly an honor and a privilege and a pleasure to serve over any adoption ceremony, but particularly this one.”
