Taylor Swift is rocking the world with her “Eras Tour.” CalTech and UCLA researchers say Swifties at the Los Angeles shows caused earthquake-level tremors. During the singer's August 5th concert the research team set up motion sensors on both the inside and near the stadium to record the vibrations from the concert. They found that the activity was caused by the crowd movement rather than the vibrations from her music. It’s no surprise that "Shake It Off" had the biggest movement with a local magnitude of point-85. The paper about the study is called “Shake to the Beat: Exploring the Seismic Signals and Stadium Response of Concerts and Music Fans.”
