Harrison Johnson, a 10-year-old history buff from North Carolina is on a mission to honor the heroes of Pearl Harbor by raising $100-thousand. His campaign, "Harrison’s Heroes," aims to educate kids about this historic event and ensure the sacrifices of those involved are remembered.
Harrison's interest in Pearl Harbor began with a school project, and after delving deeper into its history, he was determined to make a difference. His campaign focuses on sharing untold stories, particularly those of women, minorities, and heroes like Doris Miller, an African American Navy Cross recipient.
Through community partnerships, speaking engagements, and charity events, Harrison has raised nearly $81-thousand so far. His efforts highlight the importance of honoring past sacrifices for freedom, but Harrison insists that the true heroes are those who have given their lives to protect our liberty.
