A Connecticut mom is warning parents to be on the lookout for their kids buying stuff in app. Jessica Johnson says her PayPal was linked to her iPad and when 6-year-old son used it to Sonic Forces, he bought nearly $17-thousand in rings to play the game. The charges were racked up over the summer, when Johnson would do the typical parent move “here, use my tablet.” Now the mom, who got over half of her money back from the Apple Store, reminds parents to use the proper settings to lock down a kid’s ability to buy things without a password. And…don’t share the password with your child.
