Pennsylvania officials have announced a new state park near the Lehigh Valley will be the first to be dedicated recreational vehicles. The Weiser forest motorized recreation area -- about an hour's drive from Allentown - will be turned into an area for recreational vehicles. The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources said in a news release Friday that it's expected to open in the summer of 2024. The agency said it plans to gather community and stakeholder feedback in the building process, as well.
