Police in Kansas reunite a little boy with autism with his stolen scooter. This past weekend, someone stole a Lightning McQueen scooter from in front of a Walmart in Lawrence, Kansas. It belonged to a seven-year-old autisctic boy named Brantley, it was very special to him and he was devastated.
Surveillance photos of the theft show three women taking the scooter. Lawrence police shared the pics online in the hope that the public would have information leading to the scooter’s return.
In the end, one of the women in the photos returned the scooter along with a statement apologizing to the family. Brantley’s mother says she’d like to see the thieves face some kind of consequence, but what’s more important is that Brantley now has his beloved scooter back.
