An after school club at a Moline, Illinois school is turning heads.
The After School Satan Club at Jane Addams Elementary School got attention this week when permission slips for the club were found in the school’s lobby. It’s a nationwide club, founded by members of the Satanic Temple, who offer it to schools that have after school clubs offered by religious organizations such as the Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Temple co-founder Lucien Greaves explains “If you’re going to open the public forum up to one religion, you open it up to all of them.” Schools that offer after school clubs have to offer up an open array of clubs and this school certainly does!
