Over Christmas, Santander Bank made what looks to be a $176-million mistake. Around 75-thousand customers who normally received payments from people and customers accidentally received a double-helping of cash…on Christmas Day, no less. Santander says it was all a “scheduling issue” and now they’re desperately clawing away to try and get back all that money. If the money is still in the account, getting it back is easy…but if the cash was withdrawn or spent, things can get trickier. Source:The Guardian
