While JEFF BEZOS is preparing to launch himself into space . . . basically because he can . . . his ex-wife MACKENZIE just gave another $2.7 BILLION to various charities. That's on top of the $6 billion she gave away last year.
MacKenzie and her new husband Dan Jewett say they're troubled by the increasing concentration of wealth among just a few people, and their goal is to, quote, "give away a fortune that was enabled by systems in need of change."
MacKenzie is worth roughly $60 billion. She and Jeff divorced in 2019, and she walked away with a 4% stake in Amazon.
After the split, she signed the Giving Pledge, which is a promise by rich people to give away the majority of their wealth. It was designed by Warren Buffett and Bill and Melinda Gates.
