Power officials say Tuesday's storm knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses. Met-Ed reported more than 24-thousand homes and businesses in Berks lost power during the storm Tuesday. That number was cut down to 15 thousand by last night, but some customers could be without service until at least Friday. The saturated ground and winds brought down a number of trees and power lines.
