Reporter Covering Sweepstakes Finds Out She Won

A reporter covering the Spanish sweepstakes got a surprise on air when she heard the numbers being drawn.

Natalia Escudero’s reaction was as fun as you can imagine, but she’s acknowledged she didn’t score the “fat one,” but seven people did. The top prizes were over $400 thousand.

Spain’s national lottery has a long history – it started as a charity in 1763 during the reign of King Carlos III.
