A man in Idaho who’s been struggling to make ends meet for his wife and their two adopted kids after being injured while working on their home has been given a life-changing gift. Journalists at EastIdahoNews.com surprises families and people in need during the holiday season through their Secret Santa series and they found someone very deserving in Brad Crow.
He was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer at 14 and has been through radiation, chemo, and having a leg removed while battling it. Then while building his dream home with his wife, Erica, Brad fractured his leg and was hit with multiple medical issues as a result, including hip replacements and a staph infection that left him fighting for his life.
The family is facing financial hardships because Brad’s been out of work, but Secret Santa is helping to change that. They were given a year’s worth of health insurance and $50,000 to help them finish building their home.
