One North Carolina nail salon is being investigated for allegedly butchering animals inside the business.
Morgan Taylor, a customer at Diamond Nails in High Point posted about the incident on Facebook. She said while visiting the shop, an employee took deer meat out of a cooler and began to slice it on top of a tarp. According to the customer, everyone else in the shop seemed to be unfazed by the butchering. When Taylor asked about it, she was told the meat was being split up between the workers.
Since the posting, the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts is looking into whether the nail salon violated any codes. The owners of the salon so far aren’t commenting.
