The drumline of one Lehigh County school is getting a second chance after an unapproved stunt nearly cost them the rest of their year. The percussion portion of Emmaus High School's band had been suspended for 2020 after pulling pouring baby powder on their drums during a November 1st game against Freedom High School so as to create a visual effect when the instruments were thumped. However, the school's newspaper reported yesterday that following Monday night's school board meeting, the drumline will be permitted to perform next year. Video of the powdery drumming has been viewed online more than 116-thousand times.
