A boxer is dead just days after being knocked out during a fight in Chicago this past weekend. Boxing promoter Lou DiBella announced that Patrick Day died yesterday from the traumatic brain injury he suffered during Saturday's bout against Charles Conwell at the Wintrust Arena. The 27-year-old was knocked out in the 10th round and had to be taken out of the ring on a stretcher. The junior middleweight went into a coma after emergency brain surgery but never woke up.
