New York Fashion Week kicks off next week and this year, one of the models will be Faith Guilbault, a 15-year-old who has cerebral palsy and severe vision impairment. She’ll be modeling Kohl’s new adaptive clothing, which is designed for people with disabilities.
“Adaptive clothing has special snaps, special magnets,” Faith explains. “There’s all kinds of stuff to help you get your pants on and off and your shirt and stuff.”
And the icing on the cake for this teen? Not only will she be modeling in one of the most important weeks of fashion, she’ll also be celebrating her 16th birthday.
