Five Teens Hurt, Horse Killed In Hit-And-Run Involving Buggy

Five teens are hurt with one seriously injured after being thrown from a horse-drawn carriage following a hit-and run in Lancaster County early Monday morning. It happened after midnight on the 17-hundred-block of Lincoln Highway East with one of the two horses pulling the carriage killed in the crash. It's believed the driver fled westbound toward Lancaster after the wreck. Police think debris left at the crash scene points to the vehicle being a white or light-colored Mitsubishi A-S-X Outlander Sport.
