-I-78 is closed in Greenwich Twp between Exit 40 and Exit 35, in both directions. This is due to a single tractor trailer accident at mile post 36.2. It is anticipated that I-78 will be closed in both direction for an extended period of time.
-I78 EASTBOUND is being closed by PennDOT at Exit 19 (Strausstown) due to this accident at Exit 35. Traffic is being detoured south on Rt. 183 to Rt. 222 north back to I78.
-Old Route 22 (also in Greenwich Township) is also now closed due to multi-vehicle accident, including two tractor trailers, between Rt. 143 & Rt. 737 (this is in the original local detour).
-Rt. 143 now has a report of an accident just south of Old Route 22.
** AVOID THE I78 CORRIDOR and related detour routes AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE **
