A kindhearted kid in California is already working to make the world a better place and he’s only nine years old. Ryan Kirkpatrick had a talk with his mom about kids at his school who can’t afford school lunches and he decided he wanted to help. He asked his mom, Kylie, to find out how much his fellow third-graders at West Park Elementary School owed and then he decided to cover the debt for them.
Ryan used his allowance money, which would normally be spent on sports gear, to pay for the balance of lunch debts owed by kids in his grade. He gave the $74.50 to pay it all off and he feels good about it. Ryan says, “I want them to feel happy someone cares about them.”
