An Iowa man is dead after saving his daughter from a dog attack in Fort Madison.
A boxer was seen attacking Robert Quick while he was on the ground in a front yard. Police say Quick called for help because his daughter had been bitten in the face by the dog. The father of five died at the hospital but he undoubtedly saved his daughter's life. He had instructed medics to care for his daughter first.
The dog was so aggressive it wouldn’t let go of Quick. So deputies shot it dead. Quick was said to have had a heart attack during the attack. He was 33.
