Police in Lancaster say scammers are sending people child pornography then posing as law enforcement. One reported version of the scam has someone posing as a 23-year-old woman sending child pornography to the victim as they're chatting through a dating website. Then the target gets a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office threatening jailtime if a 500-fine isn't paid. Anyone who thinks they've been targeted in this scam is asked to contact police.
