More Mumps Cases Confirmed Has Virus Continues to Spread to Nearby Counties

Health officials confirm 16 cases of the mumps have been traced to Temple University. That's the highest number reported in Philadelphia since 2011. Experts say outbreaks are more common on college campuses because vaccinations are waning and students are living in close quarters. Symptoms include fever and swollen glands on the side of the face.
