Sheriff's Deputy Fired After Shooting Chihuahua in the Head

Officials with the Faulkner County Prosecutor's Office are speaking out after a sheriff's deputy shot a dog on duty.  Deputy Keenan Wallace says the chihuahua attacked him over the weekend, prompting him to shoot and injure the dog.  Wallace was fired after the story became public.  A statement released today by prosecutor Carol Crews says they are investigating the incident, adding that the sheriff's office has been swamped with phone calls.
