A woman and her two grandchildren are alive and well today because of the kindness of strangers in Manchester, New Hampshire. Bonita Noviello says she was driving on Interstate 93 when she ran over a mattress and it got stuck under her car.
According to Noviello, flames shot out from under her vehicle, so she pulled over, and then people ran over to help once she was stopped. She says a woman grabbed her three-month-old granddaughter while she pulled her two-year-old granddaughter out of the car.
When firefighters arrived, they drenched the flames, but Noviello’s car was destroyed. She’s extremely grateful to the strangers who stopped to help her family, calling them her “angles.”
