There’s a lot of conflicting information out there on whether alcohol and coffee are good for you. It’s like every day, we hear new information about how much of the stuff we should be consuming. We might want to take this new info and run, though. A new study shows that coffee and alcohol could actually help you to live longer.
The University of California Irvine did a test on a bunch of 90 year olds that showed all of them pretty high on the coffee and alcohol intake scale. That being said, there are a ton of other variables, obviously. It could have been pretty much anything that made them live longer. But let’s look at it this way – this study certainly doesn’t KNOCK coffee or alcohol for any reason.
A different study in the UK also showed similar results in coffee and alcohol drinkers, so all hope is not lost. We should definitely be a little cautious, but don’t lay off the stuff completely just yet!
