Homeless Man and Couple Made Up GoFundMe Story, Prosecutors Say

A case of a New Jersey couple helping a homeless veteran who helped them first is a fraud.  Florence residents Mark D'Amico and Katelyn McClure, plus Philadelphia man Johnny Bobbitt are facing charges related to Theft by Deception after creating a GoFundMe page for Bobbitt for fraudulent reasons.  The three invented a story that Bobbitt, despite being homeless, lent 20-dollars to McClure when her car was stuck.  This led to the creation of the GoFundMe page based on that lie, as a phony opportunity to raise money for Bobbitt.
