BREAKING: Mass Shooting at Bar in California

Law enforcement in Thousand Oaks say he was killed inside the Borderline Bar and Grill, where at least 12 people were killed. There are multiple fatalities, but an exact number has not been released. Ventura County sheriff's Sgt. Eric Buschow says hundreds of people were in the bar at the time of the shooting.

The gunman reportedly set off smoke grenades before he started shooting inside the Borderline Bar and Grill. People inside the bar picked up chairs and smashed windows so they could get out. Video has shown injured people being carried away from the bar by members of the public and emergency services workers.

A sheriff's deputy is among the 13 people dead after a mass shooting at a dance hall in Thousand Oaks, California.  Hundreds of people were at the Borderline Bar and Grill late Wednesday when shots rang out.  The Ventura County Sheriff's Office says a sheriff's deputy is among the victims.  The death toll includes the gunman.
