Hundreds of homeless exotic animals were discovered crammed into a home in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. According to a neighbor, it was like a “zoo” in there.
At least 240 animals were rescued from the home, including more than 100 snakes, several alligators, five tortoises, two skunks, possibly a dozen ferrets and at least half a dozen guinea pigs. Unfortunately, that doesn’t include the multiple dead animals that were also found. The shocking discovery has been called “deplorable” by zoning and code enforcement officer Robin Royer.
Apparently, this isn’t even the first time she’s paid the house a visit. Although the tenants hadn’t lived there very long, since it’s a rental, she’s responded to reports of loose dogs running around before. And the tenants? They were previously busted for having another 100 or so animals in horrible conditions in a Macungie home.
