Man Contracts Flesh-Eating Bacteria from New Jersey Water While Crabbing

A Cumberland County man is fighting for his life after contracting flesh-eating bacteria.  Angel Perez of Millville was reportedly crabbing in the Maurice River on July 2nd when his right leg started to swell, then the swelling spread to all of his limbs.  Now stricken with Vibrio necrotizing fasciitis, he is in the intensive care unit at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, and could end up having all of his limbs amputated as a result.
