University of Florida President Apologizes For Aggressive Graduation Usher

The University of Florida is apologizing for the actions of a faculty member during commencement ceremonies Saturday.  Several African American students were observing a long-held tradition among black fraternities of briefly dancing across the stage to celebrate receiving their diplomas.  But the faculty member started yanking the graduates off the stage, and video of his aggressive behavior went viral.  UF President Kent Fuchs tweeted a personal apology and said he is reaching out to the students involved.
