There’s a reason the saying “you’re aging like fine wine” is a compliment. Auction house Acker scored a big win by selling a 1945 bottle of wine for a record-breaking price. The 750 ml bottle of 1945 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, originally sourced from Robert Drouhin's personal wine cellar, sold for an astounding $812,500. The previous record was $558-thousand. With production extremely limited, surviving bottles of this particular wine have long been considered the pinnacle of wine collecting.
