DDG: Stadium Worker Goes Extra Mile To Return Eagles Fan’s Lost Wallet

Last week, Marianne Stephens and her husband traveled from west Texas to attend their very first Philadelphia Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field. In the excitement of the game, her husband lost his wallet, and with thousands of fans in the stadium, they assumed it was gone for good. Fortunately, the wallet was found by Christina, a stadium employee who spotted it after the game and took action to see it got back to its rightful owner.

She discovered the couple’s hotel keycard inside and started calling Hilton locations until she located them. Although she was already 15 minutes outside the city, Christina turned her car around and drove back to Center City, getting to the Stephens’ hotel at 2 a.m. to return the wallet in person. The grateful couple took a pic with their new friend to mark the moment, with Marianne joking that Christina’s husband would now have proof of why she was coming home so late.

When offered a reward, the good Samaritan initially refused but eventually accepted, only to donate the money to the Eagles Autism Foundation. Marianne later shared the story in a Philadelphia Eagles fan group online, writing how grateful they were and calling it a reminder of why Philadelphia is known as the “City of Brotherly Love.”
