TikTokers say ban would be "devastating" to their careers and businesses.

Some TikTokers are saying an American ban of the app would be "devastating" to their careers and businesses.

A bill making its way through Congress would force the app to either be sold to an American company or be banned nationwide.

Ben Stanley, who has mental and physical health complications, has used TikTok to earn an income. "Should TikTok be banned, my business won't be able to sustain itself because I don't have the same kind of following anywhere else," Stanley said. "I would essentially be unemployed again, which would be a massive strain on my health as well as my wife and son on the way."
