Teacher In Hot Water For Showing Horror "Winnie" Movie To Students

A parent in Miami-Dade County accuses a teacher of being careless for showing fourth-grade students a horror film. A teacher at The Academy of Innovative Education charter school in Miami Springs showed a movie this week called Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Michelle Diaz says her 4th-grade twins were distraught.

In the movie, according to RottenTomatoes.com, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet become feral and go on a bloody rampage.

The head of the school says the film was not suitable for the age group, and she has addressed this issue directly with the teacher and taken appropriate action.

She says a mental health counselor already met with students who have expressed concerns.
