(Reading, PA) -- All Berks County buildings are going to be closing earlier today in preparation for the oncoming winter storm. President Judge Thomas G. Parisi announced yesterday that county buildings will be closing at noon today. The judge says the decision was made to protect employees before the snow starts to fall. Employees who are not in 24-7 operations are being asked to stay at home. A further decision about Thursday's operations will be made later this evening.
