About 35-thousand dollars' worth of products have been thrown out following an alleged prank at a Hanover Township store yesterday. In a Facebook post, workers at the Gerrity's Supermarket location say a woman intentionally coughed on fresh produce, bakery items and meat products in an attempt to play on coronavirus fears. Authorities say the "unidentified" woman will be tested for COVID-19 though they do not believe she is ill. Following her apprehension, 15 employees worked to sanitize and disinfect the area, including throwing out all of the affected items. Store officials say prosecutors intend to pursue numerous charges against the woman.
