Teen With Cancer Becomes Model Thanks To Macy’s And Make-A-Wish

After being diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor, Hank Cazier wasn’t sure he’d be around long enough to see his dream of becoming a model come true. The 19-year-old student from Idaho has been in treatment since his diagnosis in 2015, and it hasn’t been easy on him.

But Macy’s and Make-A-Wish teamed up and made his dream become a reality. They brought Hank to New York City, where he learned how to model and did a photoshoot for Macy’s holiday campaign. Now the teen is featured in their Holiday Gift Guide and he’s in an ad on a billboard in his hometown, Idaho Falls.

"I am so humbled and grateful for the opportunity that I have had to work with Make-A-Wish and Macy's," Hank says. "It has been a huge growing experience for me, and I would even consider it to be life changing."
