Algae in Berks Ponds and Lakes holds Toxins that can Kill your Dog

My pup is an indoors kind of dog. He freaks out at everything, because you know, that's what old, blind, deaf poodles do. But if you have an outdoor dog that loves to play in the water, be careful around lakes and ponds. The hot, humid, rainy weather is producing blue-green algae in Berks at popular places like Blue Marsh Lake, and there are reports of dogs getting sick and even dying from it, so just be extra careful. If you've been out near water with your dog, and they start having seizures, don't waste any time, get to your local vet!
