Alex Rodriguez has learned the hard way not to leave valuables in his car. Thieves in San Francisco worth of jewelry and electronics while he was in town for the Giants-Phillies game Sunday night.
According to police sources, the culprits got away with a camera, a laptop, miscellaneous jewelry, and a bag. The soon-to-be Mr. Jennifer Lopez and his ESPN colleagues were having dinner when the incident occurred. Burglary investigators collected evidence overnight and the department has made the case a high priority.
“It’s an unfortunate situation,” ESPN officials said in a statement. “We are working with local authorities to address it.” So far, A-Rod hasn’t addressed the situation.
