When nine-year-old Caden Dixon had to face the first day of school just a month after his dad was killed in the line of duty, deputies who worked with his father were there to have his back. Hall County Sheriff’s deputies escorted the fourth-grader to class at Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy in Gainesville, Georgia to show their support.
In a Hall County Sheriff’s Office share photos of deputies walking with Caden, and his mom Stephanie, to his classroom. The post explains “They wanted to give Caden and Stephanie some extra support and encouragement on this first day of class.”
