Study: Giving Babies Antibiotics, Antacids May Increase Allergy Risk

A new study from JAMA Pediatrics found that babies given antibiotics or antacids at a young age were more likely to develop childhood allergies. Researchers looked at the health records of children born from 2001 to 2013. Gut bacteria is key to the development of children and antacids and antibiotics changes it.
