Daily Do Good: Customers Help Keep Hometown Diner Alive

Lee’s Diner has been a community staple in Manchester, Pennsylvania since 1951. So when owner Oman Ilyan faced some challenges keeping the nostalgic glass and metal diner open, some of his best customers stepped up to help.

Regular diner customer John Sutherland started a Facebook page to organize clean-up efforts and along with another customer, Jason Hoeltzle, started cleaning and restoring Lee’s to its original glory. "I think it's important that we keep this business open and get it back on a good path," Sutherland says.
