United Airlines is looking into a mix-up that accidentally sent a woman's dog to Japan. Kara Swindle said her ten-year-old German Shepherd was supposed to be shipped from Oregon to Kansas City, Missouri on Tuesday, where her and her children were moving to. When they arrived, she was instead given a dog that was supposed to be sent on the long-haul flight. Swindle said she wanted her dog to fly with her during the move, but the airline said he was unable to travel on her flight and had to be sent on another. She said he was not given food or water on the 16-hour flight.
